Seminars
The RTG regularly organises Seminars on GenEvo topics by renowned invited speakers who present their current research. The PhD students are involved in selecting and inviting speakers and have the opportunity to meet and have informal discussions with them. In addition to talking about scientific topics, the PhD students have the opportunity to discuss career options and strategies on how to succeed in science with these speakers in “speed mentoring sessions”.
In addition, we offer seminars on topics that are currently relevant for the GenEvo community (e.g. mental health). These seminars are often organized jointly with other DFG-funded projects, such as the SFB 1361 or the 4R-RTG.
