Julian König, one of our GenEvo PIs from IMB, has joined the prestigious Heisenberg Programme by DFG, receiving €650,000 over 5 years. His research on posttranscriptional RNA regulation, titled "Cracking the molecular code of splicing and RNA modifications," aims to understand gene expression control, providing insight into a vital mechanism in cell functioning which will help to improve our understanding of processes underlying aging and disease. This recognition highlights Julian's excellence and promises significant contributions to cellular biology. Congratulations to Julian on this achievement!
