The 7th GenEvo Seminar was held by Jacintha Ellers from the UV University of Amsterdam on the topic of "Genome evolution in symbiosis: a tale of loss and expansion". She was invited by Tom Sistermans and his supervisor Susanne Foitzik. Tom got to know Jacintha already in his Master studies and was thankful for the networking opportunity in the virtual mentoring session before the seminar.
