The first GenEvo Seminar was held by Björn Schumacher from the University of Cologne on the topic of "DNA damage reactions in ageing and cancer".
After several already planned seminars were cancelled due to corona, we were happy to have this seminar held online.
The seminar was co-organized by SFB 1361, so that more than 70 participants from Heidelberg, Darmstadt, Frankfurt and certainly Mainz listened to the lively lecture of Prof. Schumacher and participated in the online discussion, which was moderated by GenEvo student Claudia Scalera and her supervisor Petra Beli.
