On 26 May 2023, the buddy team Youssef Tawfik and Vanessa Maißl from the second cohort of GenEvo PhD students delivered Chalk Talks on their respective buddy's research project. Yu-Chia Ku and Frederic Zimmer were next on 22 June 2023. The presenters offered a summary of the respective research projects to their GenEvo colleagues while learning how to deal with the common situation in science to briefly outline a research idea (as well as making use of some drawing skills).
