One of our GenEvo students participated in the Science Slam organized by AG Junge Wissenschaft and won! In her presentation, Annika provided insights into how sex is determined, how it can change dynamically over the lifespan of animals, and the challenges that arise from the separation of sexes. As the winner of this friendly competition, she will now travel to Norway to compete with other European finalists in the FORTHEM Researcher Grand Prix. We support her in spreading the message of natural diversity in sexual systems and are excited to watch the final via livestream!
