GenEvo, SFB 1361 and IMB jointly hosting a lecture series on mental health and the impact of COVID on our research.
The first seminar in this series was given by Prof. Thomas Rigotti from the Institute of Psychology in Mainz on the topic of "How the COVID-19 Pandemic Impacts Scientists – About Risks and Coping Options". He showed empirical evidence on how the pandemic is affecting scientists and other employees in research organizations including changing work routines, restrictions in conducting research, and attitudes like job insecurity.
Special thanks to Prof. Rigotti, who conducted this very interesting seminar by helping us all with coping skills at the individual, team and organizational levels!
